| Foam drilling?
Ok so I had a thought, I know some people buy the memory foams to get more traction, I also have read that some people cut the foam in a star like pattern, giving the tire more grip. I was wondering if any one has tried this or not, or what you all think of it. So here is the idea, get a drill bit and drill numerous holes into the foam, Now im talking allot of holes. My theory is, when your drill these holes, it allows the foam to soften up much easer, now I am wondering if this could come into play with traction. With the foam still having its form it could steer and drive properly, but with the holes, it would be able to compact much easer and grab the ground. Now this is just a theory, and thought on it? |

Been done... not with a drill, but a hole punch.

Honestly I didn't notice any loss in manuverability with the star pattern cut in my foams. You can see the truck bounce a little when driving on flat ground but how often does that happen? lol | |
