Default Clarify cc bec hook up

I just want to find out .Ive been researching and ready all old post on this cc bec. Everyone kept saying unhook red wire from esc to rx, but didnt show it in any of the diagrams.Is this how i should wire it? (quick drawing)

No, the servo plugs into the receiver still, simply pull the red wire out of the esc's plug, that's all. Then plug that into the receiver too. Next solder the BEC's wires onto the leads from the esc to the battery(red to red, black to black) Then plug the BEC's plug into the receiver's"battery" slot. There ya go. If you need I can get a diagram

Thanks guys. Thats way better info than I got before, No wonder it didnt make it thru one battery pack.

You ran it with the setup you drew? Did you burn anything up?

Yes the bec died about 20 minutes into driving. But it all makes perfect sense now. I was trying to make sure my servo was getting all the juice it needs to do it thing.
