| Need some help with my SW3
I have an SW3 crawler wiht the R2D tranny, TLT axles, etc... Anyway, when I take a rock or obstacle with my right front tire, the suspension does it's magic and I can get over the obstacle. When I try to take an obstacle with my left front wheel, the suspension seems to buckle. Basically, both front and rear shocks don't budge. The whole front of the truck lifts (when only the front left tire should lift and the right tire should stay on the ground). This causes me to not be able to clear obstacles when started on the left side. I tried many different fixes. I shortened the front tranny link since it seemed too long, I played around with shock oil, I re-did my suspension links, etc. all to no avail. I'll take pics later tonight since I don't know if I'm making any sense right now. |

I'd post up some pictures. Are your left side shock sticking? Something is getting bound up on the left side the shocks, links or something? Doesn't make sense to me if every thing is free and smooth. My SW3 is soft in the front (Losi white springs 10 wt oil both corners) and the rear is sturdy enough to stand on it's back tires when climbing (Losi red spring right rear 35 wt oil Losi silver spring left rear 40 wt oil ). I'm running Losi 90 mm shocks front and rear and they are very smooth. I have never experienced what you describe sorry I can't offer more.
