| Best TX/RX for the buck? So I am getting tired of carrying different radios for my trucks. I was thinking of condensing down to a 2.4 system for all my trucks. I know allot of people are in love with Spectrum radios.. but they are just a bit out of my budget. My question is, what other ones do you guys recommend? Any help would rock! thanks. |

You get what you pay for. I was once like you and ended up getting a less expensive radio at first. Then I dropped the $ for an Airtronics 2.4 system. Save yourself the time and $ and get a good quality radio first. You will save $ in the long run. Just my opinion. |

+1 on Futaba 3PM 2.4G. I got mine NIB for $189 with receiver and one HT MG Servo. I have 5 receivers 1 each for my Losi 8ight, Savage X, HPI Baja 5b, Axial AX10 and my AquaCraft V24. It works great on all my rc's. 3rd channel runs the rear steering on my ax10 no problems, it also works great for Dig.

I've been using my futaba 3PM for a few months now, and love it. The proportionality of the system is incredible. Picked it up for $130.00 shipped on ebay. Spead Spectrum is SWEEEEEET |

I switched to a Spektrum DX-6 and love it. Only one transmitter to carry around and each new reciever is only $50. I got mine used from an airplane guy for $100 and he had put in a bigger battery and a new/better voltage regulator.

i agree, buy right, not priced. imho, for 260.00 at DDM you can buy the React from Nomadio with one rx. 90/addition rx. Excellent setups that have multi function and uses. 4 chnls, built in temp, batt monitor, heat monitor built in, only need to get the sensors. its all shown on the nice lcd, screen is 2x2 but easy to read surprisingly. out of the box it shows tx and rx levels. so as long as you plug power into your rx, the lcd will give you its power. you can use the tx on your computer for games. 40 mdl memory, and each channel is fully customizable and adjustable. Can run any combo of digital and analog servos. no hassles with HRS or PPS or other things of this nature. excellent control even at 200 yrds, basically no delay. IMHO you cant go wrong. If you dont need all the bells and whistles of the React, the Futaba 3PM FASST is the way to go. |
