| question on charger and battery?
can you really get a hour and a half out of this battery pack?http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=1253 and is the duratrax ice charger the best bang for the buck help me out guys |

I don't run this battery or the Losi, but I don't see why you couldn't get that run time. I get close to an hour with a nimh and an AX10. * |

For that application on a totally stock losi MRC, I would not be surprised to get that runtime. Bear in mind though, the ESC that comes with the MRC does not have a low voltage cutoff for a lipoly pack. If you over discharge the pack, you risk damage to the pack (at best, unusable, at worst, fire). As far as a charger goes, the ICE is a nice charger. I have one and I really like it. If you are using lipo's though, you want to get a balancing charger like the Hyperion i0606. Downside to the hyperion is that it does not have a discharge feature or the motor break in feature. Without the discharge feature, you cannot cycle your packs when they are new to get to their full potential sooner. I have both chargers, so I can do all those things, but I wish the ICE had a balancing feature. |
