Hey all you crawler's! i am new trying to ge into the rc crawling scene, i have been racing nitro mt's for about a year so i'm not new to rc's, i am going to build a crawler mostly out of parts i have laying around, the chassis is a stock Monster gt and i got a cage for it, i am gonna ditch the shock towers and mount 4 integy msr9's to the cage, i am on a budget of about 300 and have got everything to get it rolling except motors, i am going to get integy 65t motors, for the money i picked up (2) axial AE-1 esc's one for a backup I will post pics as soon as i start getting all my parts in Hope to here from you all soon Flag |

it should make for an interesting build... be sure to post pics of ur progress, and welcome! just a thought, you might be better off just fabbing up a twin vertical plate chassis tho... search around this site for more info, would be alot easier for you to do than using what you have planned imo. |

Definetly fab up your own chassis...monster Gt chassis is just going to be a waste of time and your patience. Y not 55t, they will give you better wheel speed.

yeah i have been looking at all the maxx crawler's since they are similar to the mgt, i am going to use the mgt tranny and 3.3 maxx shafts since the extend, this is the one that is putting ideas in my head for the whole susp setup, Finally my Maxx Crawler! Pics! Also i don't have any solid axles so i might need some help with ideas, My grandparents own a trailer dealer so i have a WHOLE shop at my doorstep, with welders, grinders, you name it and they got it Thanks Flag |
