Default Ok Total newb ?

I am new to the crawling world, and want to build/buy a 1.9 scale crawler. I have looked at the SCX10, also I really like the TCS chassis for the AX10 for the tune ability, or would starting from the ground up be better. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

the losi mini crawler is 1.9, the good thing with that is that the axels are good for a scale truck cuz there not that wide, also they make a few scale chassis for it.

Yup, I have been researching parts for my MRC tuber build, it is A LOT cheaper to buy the RTR, then upgrade from there.

though the mini has 1.9 tires. i would call it a 1.5. its barely capible of leaving the living room imho.

the axials set on a xtrail chassis with 1.9s is MUCH more true to size imo.

if that were only true. you ll pay half the kit costs just to buy a pair of axles. buy the artr or kit from axial. build with the parts you want to include. sell the parts you dont want. you ll save more money in the long run this way.

You could always build your own. All you would need is a mig welder, Or see if you can find somebody that has the kind you want and see if they can build you one.
