For a scale truck, the roc lox are very cool, and for that they work surprisingly well. However there are several tires which work better for a comp rig, such as panther cougars, hot bodies rovers, losi rock claws or comp claws, HPI rock grabbers, or proline chisels. I've also heard good things about RC4WD X locs, though I've never really seen them work. I'm partial to comp claws and rovers, though all of them are good tires, and the differences between them are pretty small, so any of them would be a good choice.

| Well lets see
If you are planning on having a scale looking tire that performs well I would go with the Proline Flatirons. If you want a aggressive looking tire I would go with the HPI Rock Grabbers. The Grabbers also give you better ground clearance, because they are a tall tire. If it is performance you are looking for most crawlers go with the Rovers. Those are a few options at the top of my list. |

Depending on the rocks in your area, I would agree with the rovers or panthers. I ran panthers all last year. This year I switched to the HB rovers and had great luck. I then sliced the sidewall of one of them(my fault). I had just switched to the proline chisles and they are working really goood on river rocks. With only a few packs on them, they are hooking up very good. I am hoping they will only get better with time

soft rovers (white dot) are awsome but you have to buy foams or make your own because the stockers suck. there are at TCS for $13.00 a pair! |

I'd say HB Rovers Blue dot with the stage 1 Proline 5.5 inch memory foams. I'm running 12 ounces in each front tire and 8 ounces in each rear. Love the set up it works perfect |

if you want it scale and still want to keep the 2.2 tire, I personally like the flatirons, but it really comes down to your personal preferance
