Default LIPO help!!

I got 2 zippy rhino 1750 25c lipo batteries for my cliff climber, and im using a cheap E-flite 2-3 Cell LiPo Balancing Charger, 0.65A http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-contr.../EFLC3110.html

ive tried using a wall adpter and hooking it to my car bat, it works, but it still ses charging after 2 hours, is this just how long it takes to charge or is their somthing wrong with the charger? and oh yeah the charger gets worm but the batts saty cold?

2 + hours is about right. That charger only charges @ .65 Amps so it will take a while to fully charge your 1750mAh pack. Hope that helps..

My Hyperion EOS606i charges take a little over an hour to charge my 1500mAh 3Cell Lipos at 1.5A. Your charger is charging at .65A...almost 3 times less than the max rating of your battery (not a bad thing). It could take 2-3 hours to fully charge your battery.

Lipo packs get warm when you use them. I have never had any of my lipo packs get warm while charging.

If it a 1500 mah you can charge it @ 1.5 amps

I see where yours are 1750mah...So you can charge @ 1.75 amps

ok so heres a newb question.

im 100% green on the lipo scene

i have a 2200 mah 7.4V 2 cell lipo, i believe the discharge rate is 20C

somehow, some way, i forgot to switch of my ax10, and the battery drained to 1.4V

shouldnt it have caught fire? exploded?

can i still use the battery, or did i pooch my first ever lipo.......lesson learned?

any help would be great!

LiPo packs don't explode. They only catch fire if they are punctured or crushed.

If the voltage drops much below 3v per cell, it's probably finished. You can try charging it using a NiMH charger (or the NiMH program on a multi-charger) for a couple of minutes, then switching back to a LiPo balance charge.
Sometimes a quick blast on a NiMH charger will fix it.

If that doesn't work, it's time to buy a new pack.
It's a good idea to get into the habit of disconnecting the pack when you aren't using the crawler. Don't just rely on the switch, pull the wires too.
