I would suggest a VMG for the money. You can get them brand new on ebay for $89, or buy one used for much less. Check out my site, they can be made into nice little crawlers!

you dont need a tlt, a vmg would be more fun in a house or something during those long cold canadian winters. Both would be a great way to start

I have a VMG, they are virtually indestructible, but I broke a front axle housing. Well, otherwise, they are great. 80 shipped off Ebay.

Get A TLT off of ebay, you can usually get them for less than 100 and I am sure they will ship out of the US.

If you're local shop is selling TLTs for $250, you can bet the VMG won't be a good bargain. Check http://www.stormerhobbies.com. They ship internationally and they're prices are competetive with Tower - for most things. And unlike Tower, they're stuff usually isn't on backorder. They should also carry the TLT.

The TLT is by far one of the best base rigs that you can buy, the possibilities are endless of what you can do with it.
