I'm just curious as to of how long a 1500 MAH NIMH vs. a 3300 mAh nimh battery would last in a completely stock axial (rtc)?

Well if I'm just taking it easy. Then if I was taking it full throttle, what would it be then?

a little more than twice as long no matter how you drive it. as long as you drive both packs the same. the 3300 will flow more than twice the amps also.

Im running a 3800 NiMH battery with Deans connectors on my RTC, and it lasts around two hours.... I would guess, I have yet to kill a battery in one use. Most of the time my arm get tired of holding the radio in that position for so long. A good charger helps for longer run times too.

Thanks for all the help gus/gals I really appreciate it. Now what about a good battery. Is the radioshack 3300 mAh nimh battery any good any more. cause some reviews say it's not the same type of cells. |

I would recommend Venom, Duratrax or Maxamps Or just go Lipo and call it a day.... |

lipo is the only way to go. a bit more expensive but lighter and worth it. I usually get about an hour per 1000 mAh.
