If all you're going to charge is the Losi MRC Lipo, it'll be fine for you. If you plan on getting deeper into Lipo, you'd be better served to put that $20 toward a higher quality all around charger that'll cover you for other cell types. Bang for the buck you almost can't beat the Duratrax Onyx 230 for $80.00... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXTCK1&P=ML |

| Another step up in price and capabilities is the thunder power 610c. will balance up to 6S, will do A123 and lead/acid batteries. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...?ProdID=THP610 Downside is you need a power supply for it unlike the Onyx that has the power supply built in. |

Bottom line, whatever charger you end up getting. look for a charger that has a wide range of capabilities. Dont use that crappy quicky charger as it will only bring you closer to not wanting to use lipo's. A good charger will last you for a long time while a cheapo will give you nothing but headaches. If you can find a charger that can charge between 2S and 6S, balance, and give you information on your charge, hold information and store settings for different batteries. then that would be a good charger. Lipo's are not like NiMH, You need to treat them with a little more respect and care for them better in order to get the most out of them as possible. I Myself would recomend the following. But there are many others to choose from. I just know for experinace that these are very well sought after and keep a good value in them. (You may have to purchase an external balancer for some of these if they dont have one. Also having a charger capable of doing AC/DC is much nicer to deal with) Racers Edge Surcharge http://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDetai...Code=RCESC2000 Dynamite Passport ULTRA http://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDetai...ctCode=DYN4064 Hyperion EOS0606 http://www.maxamps.com/EOS0606i-AC-DC.htm MRC 989 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLTW4&P=ML |

The Super Brain 960 works well. Both AC/DC hookups. Charges all batteries. Little hard to figure out, though.

You honestly think so? So when it breaks, How do you intend on getting it fixed. what kind of warentee is there on it? better yet, are you willing to take the chance to test it out and hope it does what its supposed to? Yeah for the money its a sweet deal but like i said, you get what you pay for! |

I havent gone to lipo yet, and due to funds at the time, I got a Onyx 220. Its a great charger. When I do go to lipo, it will definitely be with a Onyx 230 charger! |

I've got the AC6, no real problems for me, I love it, for the cost I've thought of buying another, so I can charge to Batteries at once and just to have a back up, I might even just get the one a step down with out he ac pack built in. It's really just a repackaged name brand, I think venom from what I've found out. Some where I found out that about 6 brands put there names and repackaged them.
