The aftermarket is HUGE for the AX10, that in itself would make up my mind...

with the 2.2 its a little bigger so i always find myself looking at bigger obstacles then are realistic for a 2.2 so i would go with a 2.2 plus if you plan to compete 2.2 are bigger than the 1.9 class plus X2 on the ax10 aftermarket

2.2 all the way. get an axial if you can find one on sale. or, if ur not looking to spend over $300, go to CKRC and there is a venom creeper package for $308 or so. axial has CRAZY INSASNE AMOUNT of aftermarket support.

go 2.2, i have seen the 1.9 losi break way to many times. my buddy has a 1.9 and he is always fixing it cause the parts suck. like everyone else is saying there is more axial aftermarket parts out there plus they are stronger. plus you can turn the 2.2 axial axles into a 1.9 scaler later if you want, just swap out wheels and chassis and you are done.

Depends on what intrest you but the 2.2 is more popular and a bigger aftermarket for parts. Losi and a very capable out of the box rig. There are a few guy in our club that run them and have done very well with them.
