Default just curious!!

I have some 1.9 flatirons on axial stock beadlocks , and was wondering if anybody has drilled holes in the rims i know my axial 2.2 wheels have them drilled , was wondering what is the best size to drill in axial 1.9 beadlock wheels and how many??
Im using them for a trail driving only and how about cutting the foam as well? Sorry if someone has already posted this before ive searched but appearntly not in the right places!!

Thanks, jon.

try searching the the wheel and tire section for "vent", "vented", and "cutting" and see what you come up with.

But the answer is yes, you can and usually will want to vent your wheels.

Yea you can drill holes in those rims. I would start with just one 1/8" hole in each rim and see how you like it. If you feel they need to be softer then go ahead and drill another hole opposite from the first one. You might not even need to trim the foams if you are just trail driving. Hope this helps.

Actually I would just drive it a bit with those tires on the truck. After awhile it was like my flatirons broke in a bit and got a bit softer, and seemed to do very well without any venting or cutting of the foams. I did however add weight onto my wheels Plus if you are going to be going through water and such, venting wouldn't be the best, as your foams will become waterlogged. Then you would have to take them apart so they could dry out, and that would become a bit of a pain in the butt.
