Default Blocking the dig, needed only for comp ?

I'm a noob, could we consider this feature not mandatory for beginners who do not want to compete ?

I have a 2ch radio, if I avoid complications at the beginning like the dig blocks, I should have lot of fun anyway, right ?

I'm guessing you have a LCC and want to know if you can lock the dig out until you get a better radio?

If you don't want to compete, you can do, or not do, anything you want. You don't need a dig to crawl well. It's optional.

Perfect, thanks, once the LCC will be developed I'll add a servo for the dig and a 3 ch receiver .

To master the dig, is it mandatory a micro servo or a standard one is good the same ? How many oz the dig optional servo must have minimum in order to properly operate the dig ?

Thanks

You could use a standard sized servo but chances are it will be overkill and you'll have to fabricate a mount for it. The dig doesn't require much torque at all from the servo so just about any mini will work.
