It's actually pretty easy, depending on what method you use. I have built one out of round stock steel, and welded it together, but there are many other ways of doing it. As far as specs, measure your axle width and shock mount locations to insure that you dont build it too wide. Measure for your wheelbase and tranny width. There are no basic "specs" for a tube chassis unless you tell us what tranny and axles you are using. For example, an axial tube chassis is going to be wider and longer than a Losi MRC chassis. Here is mine for example, it is based off of a Losi MRC: Phillbilly's tube chassis build Nothing special, but it'll give you an idea. EDIT: I just saw your other thread about bully rear steer. I am assuming you are building a tube chassis for that...... Just make sure and keep everything in mind when building it. Especially tranny clearance. You will shoot yourself if you built a tube chassis, and then your tranny doesn't fit in it....... Also, do a search in the Bully Tech section fo tube chassis, maybe you can find some builds there that will help. Last edited by ScaleReady; 08-13-2010 at 04:07 PM. |

A tube chassis isn't going to be a good choice for a MOA rig.
