Default Scale Rig

I had A LNC, It was fun but, I'm interested in building a scale rig. I like the realistic look. Plus the Tough truck challenges look fun. Where would you guys suggest for starting build. I like the Axial SCX10 Trail Honcho RTR or would the kit version be best because of the upgraded parts. Anyone have any suggestion on other ways to start.
Are there any other Scale rigs that I should look into.

Any SCX-10 platform is a perfect start. I would suggest the kits over the RTRs b/c of the metal links and steering linkages.

I agree I have the got the RTR SCX10 and the radio is junk right out of the box into the trash. But my local shop gave me a great deal so I picked up a 2.4Ghz radio and it works way better now.

I would get an SCX10 kit. That way you can pick your electronics. The rtrs are fun for bashing right out of the box but upgrading is soon to follow.

Go with a kit....

I've been reading all around for a while and I just ordered the Axial SCX10 Trail Honcho RTR from RPP Hobby. Great deal no shipping on black friday today, and it's on sale too. I just got 2-3000ma 7.2v sticks and the RTR Kit for $310 bucks to my door by Monday. Hell Ya!!!!!!!!
