Question what axles?

I am biulding my first crawler and am going to buy some axels this week. My question is are the 2.0 axles from rc4wd are worth the extra $50 or should i buy regular clod axles. They come with aluminum knuckles and better axle shafts as well as full ball bearings.

if you can find a set used in good condition, complete for less the 120, take it. I almost bought the set from rc4wd but I stumbled on to a set with motors for 135. It just depends what you want. The set from rc4wd comes with all the goodies at a great price. You get bearings, stronger shafts, and aluminum knuckles. But no motors. Im trying to build mine on a budget. So the 65 I saved went towards other parts. good luck

I think it's a great deal, I shopped for a month to find clod axles and almost bought those but ended up getting a roller just needed tires/wheels, and electronics. ! I think the price w/ just the knuckles is good, but he throws the bearings in too! The only drawback is the 3 week shipping time (that he just put up) Oh well I may order them so I have a complete set of spares.

At some point in time, you'll break a stock part. It took me a long time to break a knuckle. So in my case, I would say stock stuff works just fine. Some people are harder on their trucks, and then the upgraded parts would be worth the cost.
