Default bent upper links

I have a fairly stock ax 10 rtc and was wondering what are the advantages to using bent upper links? I have bent lowers on the truck now and as I scroll thru lots of build threads I see guys running bent links all the way round.and I also seen that the new axial wraith is set up like that to.

Just for clearance Clarance, sometimes when you run bent lowers, bent uppers are needed as well so the lowers don't contact the uppers. Straight, bent, or looking like a crazy straw, they all do the same thing.
