| What am I? It is a Battery elemination circuit. Your ESC has a BEC (what supplies power to your RX and servos), but most do not provide enough power to push the high voltage servos. Adding a BEC supplies power directly to your RX (and sometimes directly to your servo), completely bypassing the ESC's BEC. Castles Creations BECs (CC BEC) can be adjusted to supply the desired amount of voltage the driver wants. Last edited by Greatscott; 06-30-2011 at 07:19 AM. |

Alternatively, you could just run an separte pack for your servos/electronics. But BECs are more common because they eliminate the extra weight and need for additional packs.
