Default Recommened Wheel Weight.

What is the ideal weight to run on a RTR SCX10 and RTR Wraith? Thanks!

I just ordered some new Mayhem wheels and Ripsaws for my Wraith, and I'm planning to start with 4 oz. in the fronts and two in the rears. I've seen some video of a truck with 6 oz. in the front, 4 in the rear...I don't know if you need that much unless you're crawling most of the time

I'm on rocks most of the time with my mostly stock Scx10. With the stock plastic rims I'm running 6oz in the front and 3oz in the back and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I'd change is I need a little more in the back, when I'm going down steep descents the rear wants to pop up and over the front a bit too much.

Also note, make sure your servo can handle it. More weight = more work for the servo, however I haven't found any need for as much torque as othrs will say. My Airtronics is giving 206oz of torque at 6v and it has no troubles.
