| Battery charge info
First post. I've been lurkin and learnin for a while so thanks to you all. I'm a noob to rc but have a real wrangler that I crawl so I'm not a total noob. My question is about the losi multipro 80w charger and charge times. I run speedpack 3300 ni-mh in my venom. I can't find anywhere where it says how long it takes to charge a battery. I've left it on the charger for 75 min at 1.5A and it still doesn't tell me it's done. Any help would be great. Aaron |

Charge rate's too low, at 75 mins, you've only put back in 1,875 mAh. Long way to go before that thing's done. Bump your charge rate up to 3.0 amps, that should get you done in roughly an hour and ten minutes. For a quick and dirty formula for figuring out charger time: (Batt mAh) divided by (Charger output mAh) times 60 = minutes of charge time. For ex. 3300 mAh battery/ 1500 mAh charger output X 60 = @ 132 minutes of charge time (about 2.2 hours) |

Sweet thanks. I couldn't have gotten a better answer So... my 3300mAh pack / 3000 (3A) charge output X 60= 66 min. One other question.. My charger go's up to 6A, should I not exceed 3A because it's a 3300mAh pack? Could I get it charged in 35 min. at 6A or is that a bomb waiting to happen? All this battery/charger stuff is confusing thats why I went with NiMH and not LiPo thanks again guys Last edited by farlok72; 10-30-2011 at 11:23 AM. |

| I can't tell you not to do it, because I've done worse, but I do run a cautiously low Delta Peak setting. I wouldn't reccomend the practice, though, very rough on cells, really reduces how long that pack will live.
