Default A New Guy

Hey everyone just wanted to post up and say hi! I just put my first real RC on order today. Got an Axial SCX10 on the way which I plan on turning from stock to a miniature rig of my very own, not sure if anyone has done that so far but I think it will be a pretty cool project overall. Im into 1:1 scale wheelin a ton and Im sure this will be a much cheaper form or wheelin, cause when something breaks on your REAL Jeep that can be a little pricey; and cause my Axial isn't here yet Ill include a pic of my 1:1 rig and the model for my mini for anyone curious 1996 Jeep Cherokee, 3.5" Rubicon Express lift, C8.25 rear 3.55 gears, 4.0L six married to an NP231 and an AW-4 auto.

Hey guys, here are some sections to look into:

Scale section, its seperated by wheel size stock SCX-10 wheels are 1.9s:
Scale Rigs General Tech - RCCrawler.com Bulletin Board

And the SCX-10 section:
Axial SCX-10 - RCCrawler.com Bulletin Board

That should get you some good ideas to start with.

There is a samurai body out there, I forget who makes it. It is a little bit small for axial axles though unless you are going for a dedicated trail rig look. Axial axles are just too wide to fit under it.

No problem

There is a lot of stuff on here, scroll down on the main page and look through it all. Then you will have a better idea where to look depending on what you are trying to find.

Welcome to the addiction that is RCC, nice XJ. The SCX is a great platform with tons of aftermarket support. Just about anything you can do to it has been done here on RCC so if you get stumped on anything just search for answers first chances are there's 10 threads about it already. Enjoy and again welcome

There is this body while not quite, it is a Samurai. Does not come with exact grill stickers, etc but is just right for an SCX10 rig:

Axial Racing Trail Ranger Body

Sweet Jeep! I sure do miss mine! It was white just like yours 90 XJ with a 6inch Tomken lift, 33" mudders, 4:56 with a lockright locker in the rear and detroit locker up front. Seeing yours and all these scalers is bringing back some great memories.
