Default Clod Knuckles...

I want to get a bit more radius out of my steering without HAVING to go 4WS... Right now, it's not so bad... I had the limiters on the top and bottom nipped off already... I'm just curious to know if I can shave the backside of the knuckle to give it a bit more without comprimising the strength of the unit... Looks like it but I'm leery of shaving near the webbing for the steering arm of it...

Is it safe to do so and not have to go lightly?

I have done that to my knuckles, and you do gain some turning radius...
But, you might find that the extra turning radius makes the tie rod contact the gearcase. Take a look at how close your tie rod comes now an see how much room you have to gain.

Ahhhh... I never thought of that... Thanks for the headsup on that one... I'll trim lightly on the backbits...;)

Thanks for the input...
