Default newbe question

Im new to rc crawlers however i do have some experiance with the real thing so here is my question. On a real rig if the front axil is locked and is driven on dry non slip surface, you will grenade the front end. so with the front axil on my wraith being locked, what keeps it from breaking parts if driven on dry non slip surfaces?

Even though these trucks are called "scale", they aren't scale weight-wise.
At 7lbs average weight of a Wraith and if your weight is distributed evenly, you'll have less than 2lbs of weight on each tire. The gears are strong enough to overcome that weight and the tires will slip when they need to.

I've never had a problem with my RCs or 1:1s with fully locked front or rear ends being driven on the street or any other high traction surfaces. The tires will slip well before you blow out any gears.

lol....unless your runnin a spool in your front axle on your 1:1 i could see it being a problem, but no that wont happen with 10th scale rigs

FULLY locked in the front, on a street driven 1:1 is absolutely retarded.
