If it was the stock servo you didn't loose much, there not very good to begin with. Swith to 32pitch gears and your spur gear will last longer but the next thing to go will be the gears inside the trans. As far as a servo goes, pick up one rated with as much torque as you can afford,at least 300oz and a high torque servo is also going to require a BEC. |

I got the 7554 hitec... i think, its on its way back to hitec again because it went out. They fix em and send em back 2 bucks shipping. That thing was like 110 so i would save and get the best one you can, in the long run youll spend it anyways, we always do!!

If you are on a really tight budget I would go with the stock servo in the RPP Salvage yard. It is a way to get the wraith running again. If you are running the stock motor, then the stock spur gear should work if you watch the mesh adjustment. Here is another low cost option for the spur gear: Robinson Racing Supertuff 48P Plastic 80T Spur Gear Wraith If you can spend $80.00 the HS-7954SH servo works well. It has 333oz at 6v. It would last longer than stock. A CCBEC would be a good idea so the servo has plenty on power. |

You can find lots of stock parts on the Bay. There are several people parting out RTR's.

So I found a Hitech 7955 on ebay for 1 dollar starting bid. Iv never used ebay before, is it worth creating an account to get the 100 dollar servo for way cheap?
