Default venting rock beasts

I have searched many venting threads and have put 2 holes in each tire with a hot leather punch. Piece if cake. But the rock beast are so soft I think holes are sealing up.
Is this expected or should I make bigger?
I dont think the air is releasing as expected. Yet.

im intrigued by this as well I just used a drill bit to punch a couple small holes in my pitbulls and they seam to of sealed back up instantly lol. I might just drill the wheels like I have for everything else but I wind up in water quite often.

Cool, I tried drilling and they are so soft the wanted to wrap on drill.
These tires seem awesome so I want to do it best way I can as well.

Kinda a funky way to vent tires but I use my old cheap Weller stick style soldering iron to cauterize holes in some of my tires.

Nice! When holes are finished should there actualy be a hole or does it seal up until compressed?

I drill a hole in my wheels and tap it for a 3mm screw and then if I'm out wheeling and encounter water jus put the bolt in and no water leakage. Which most the time I will compress the tires a little bit and put the screw in so they have a low tire pressure look and wrap around rocks pretty good plus I don't have to worry about trying to stick a screw in out on the trails.

I make the holes big enough so they wont "close in" under compression and burning them in keeps the carcass intact.

Soldering iron with point or Blunt round tip just worked awesome for my pitbulls!
Air releases nicely now.

I use a 1/8" leather hole punch, usually 4-5 holes per tire. Never had an issue with them closing up.
