Default How do I hook this up?

Putting on my new hitec servo on my scx 10. So the servo arm's connecting holes are like pin holes and barely spaced apart, how am I supposed to connect the steering linkage that takes a M3x15mm screw? If I use a smaller screw then I will have a ton of slop in the ball joint. Whats the deal? Drill out the hole on the arm a bit?

You need to buy a servo horn that is designed for a ground vehicle. The servo horns that come with the servo are made to be used with airplanes where you have a wire connector/push rod.

An aluminum clamping style works the best for crawlers.

I drilled the hole larger already and mounted the linkage to it. Seems to work just fine, any other reason to buy another horn?

Run it for a while, you'll figure it out.

Not until it breaks. Maybe use a weaker servo to prevent that from happening.

You will strip out the splines in the plastic one.
It's very annoying and will end your day on the rocks/trails.
Get a nice aluminium one.

Well I guess it does make sense if I upgraded to alum links and a better servo to get an aluminum horn as well.
