| i need help from anyone who owns a NN chassis
Just like the title says,im having a hard time deciding on the best set-up for the electronics used within the NN chassis. what is the best place to put the esc...mine is a tekin rebel 2...and whats the best way to wire it all...from the batt. to the esc, and then to the motor..... to make it simple, please just post up pics of ur NN setup, and ill work off that. by the way, i did check the tcs forum, and 90% of the pics were with the bodies on, need the bodies off so i can see the wiring and set-up... thank u in advanced for all who help... so its easier to mount on the chassis vs the axles... and also i just ordered moab xl tires and proline narrowed bl rims, with the TCS 12-14mm w/ the 23mm adapters, will the tires rub the lower links?? and thank u for the pics, really helped... |

I just wanted to mass centralize all the components. I'm running the Mamba 25 & Revolver with the ESC's on the axles now, and the Moab XL's won't rub the lower links.

put EVERYTHING you can on the axles... you can fit an 8 cell AA pack reciever and esc all on the axles. if you do under kunckle batteries its even easier.

Here's my setup. It's since been stretched out to a super class rig, but the electronics are in the same place. Personally I don't like the look of stuff hanging out on the axles. I know it's not the best for CG, but it's just me. I made a plate for the ESC to sit on, and the RX is mounted on the bottom side of the same plate. |
