Axial Yeti + Scx10

Just thought I'd share a cool finding that I haven't seen anyone else mention. I'm in the midst of building a hybrid of scx10/wraith/with a yeti cage. I decided to test fit onto my other scx10 and the yeti cage actually fits the scx10 with some extra plastic piece that it came with. Mounts in the factory rear body post. Looks killer too

No, the front so far just rests on the front towers, So idk exactly how it should mount. :/

How about using magnets:

You're onto something neat here. Keep the updates coming!

Even he never mentioned how he was able to get the front mounted lol.

With the CFM panels, it looked really good. With the yeti body, it looked awkwardly tall and unstable. Might be the picture angles but I definitely like it with just the panels.

Heck Yeah magnets would work. I'm just waiting on parts and time to work on my it. The scx10 fried the servo, so I have that along with a lot of stuff needed to get my mutt up and possibly running. Pictures will come soon.

I saw that when I looked it up after finding it. I think it's just the body giving the illusion, it really doesnt look to tall in person with just the cage. Given that with my level3 shock hoops for droop dont let the cage set as low as it could. He mounted the front the way it's suppose to on the yeti.. the lexan body meets with the body posts. The rig I'm building using the yeti cage sits MUCH lower than the scx10 I quickly set it on for those first pictures. :mrgreen
