Axial Yeti + Scx10 Just thought I'd share a cool finding that I haven't seen anyone else mention. I'm in the midst of building a hybrid of scx10/wraith/with a yeti cage. I decided to test fit onto my other scx10 and the yeti cage actually fits the scx10 with some extra plastic piece that it came with. Mounts in the factory rear body post. Looks killer too http://i58.tinypic.com/2uyki0j.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/nohhk4.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/352jkom.jpg |
Re: Axial Yeti + Scx10 Very cool, I had a feeling that piece had an intended use. Nice find"thumbsup" Later, Farmer |
Re: Axial Yeti + Scx10 Hows the front mount up? same way? |
Re: Axial Yeti + Scx10 No, the front so far just rests on the front towers, So idk exactly how it should mount. :/ |

How about using magnets: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/paint...s-magnets.html You're onto something neat here. Keep the updates coming! |

Even he never mentioned how he was able to get the front mounted lol. With the CFM panels, it looked really good. With the yeti body, it looked awkwardly tall and unstable. Might be the picture angles but I definitely like it with just the panels. |
