Neither one of those links had any info really. A torsion chassis doesn't use links to located the axles. Nor does it have any shocks to control the axles movements. A Torsion Chassis's flex comes from the backbone. Having said that. The different size, thickness, strength, and many other factors will change the amount of flex it has. Most the Torsion chassis's don't have a load of flex, but then again flex isn't all of it. Really after driving my 2.2 Pimp Cane..I had to learn to drive it, but at the end. I like it more then my old 4 linked 2.2 rig. Instead of Flex it has something called Float. With the Float affect if you have a very balanced rig. It gives to the capabilites to carry tires over holes or ledges that 4 links would fall into. I sure there is more info, but thats all I have for know. Up that helped. |

Some torsion chassis have links as well, its all in the way you design them. The tosion design is based on the "frame" doing all the articulation, wether it be a single rail or double rail or any variation
