Default What battery?

Well I've got alot done on my TLT, and am in need of a battery and charger. I will be running a moped esc and a 45t lathe motor. I have no clue to what batt would be good, this is my first hobby grade RC car ive ever built. I am trying to stay on a budget here, so think cheap. Links to the batt/charger would be great. Thanks in advance.

Bryan

You would be good using a Elite2000 Mah 7 cell pack and a Super brain 959. That will keep the cost, and weight down, but offer a good runtime.

The link to his website is in his signature.

Chris, I've heard the 4/5 cells have a lot more resistance than the 2/3 cells. Will this make a difference? Would I get a better run time with the 4/5 cells? I'm getting ready to make a purchase from you and want to make sure I get the right packs. TLT, 55T axiom, 645MG.

Depends on the cell. The Elite2000 and the GP2000 are great cells. We also have the Elite1500 That is by far, hands down THE best 2/3A cell you can get. At 20 amps, it discharges better than the IB1400 at 15 amps. You can get good cells in both sizes. The 4/5A will provide much better runtime.

Thanks..I actually just got an elite 1500 pack from you and went back today to get another and you were out of stock again. Looks like you guys need to start ordering more of these, lol. But if the elite 2000 will be better, I'll get those instead.
