the original scx10 has a horrible turning raduis, you can make a vast improvement by putting in axial high clearance knuckles with aluminum c-hubs and axial cvd/universal axles.. made a huge improvement in my turning radius...

you will need the high clearance axial knuckles to get the full benefit from the axial cvd axle shafts..

You can also put an underdrive gearset in the rear diff which will lessen the back wheels from pushing the front straight ahead.

The under and over drive will help. You can also add the xr narrow mod.

The cheapest option is axial high clearance knuckles, with cvds... The steering arm is on top of the knuckle versus being in the middle on the stock style knuckles.... You can get them on ebay for under 35 bucks...i got my last set for 21.00..... the two versions are shown here, first one is STRC knuckles which are copies of the originals, the second is the axial high clearance knuckles. The difference will become very obvious.. Last edited by allanon1965; 02-09-2017 at 06:41 PM. |
