Default noob RS10 tire weight ?

First rock crawler red cat rock slide. Seems to flip over easily. I read some where 6oz in rear and 3oz in front. Does that mean 6oz on each wheel rear wheel?
Or a total of 6oz.
Is there a set up 101 guide here?
Thanks for any help

there is a redcat rs10 section here in the forum with tons of people's builds and many discussions
on everything related to the rs10/

as to wheel weights and the rs10 flipping over .....
it is mostly due to it being so top heavy. one of the main mods is lowering the center of gravity - cog.
reposition the shocks, soften the preload, try repositioning the links to drop it a bit.

the wheelbase is a bit narrow, I suggest wheel wideners (extenders) to get a wider stance which will help not
only in flipping over but also help to keep the tires from rubbing on the links, shocks, motor wires.

also in my experience a bit longer wheelbase will also help. somewhere between 13 and 13.5 inches works well for me.

also as far as weight goes, usually more weight in front than in back if any at all

enjoy and hope to see you in the rs10 section

I've got a set of these Mini 12mm Wheel Widener (4) on mine, they work just fine with the stock wheels.
