For some-odd reason I never posted in this thread. :(

I've been into RC off and on since '86.

Got back into it heavy in '95.

I have various RC stuff, from boats to touring cars, to one-offs.

I've owned a few 1:1 rigs, a '50 willys cj3a with built 355/th350/dana300...traded it for a '68 GTX, sold that and ended up with a Wrangler...ended up stationed in Korea, came back, sold the Wrangler and drove a Cherokee 'till we sold it.

Wanted another 4WD and decided a nice compromise would be somewhere in between the wheelbase of the cj3a and the wrangler.

Currently driving a '93 Geo Tracker. :flipoff:

It's currently running 36" Iroks, 6" lift, and some fender/floorboard trimming. :o

My other ride is a '99 GST.

sweet tracker! I see a lot of built up ones wheelin here. Never understood why they aren't more popular....most people are sheep and only do what the mags tell 'em to...(ya see some of that in RC, too :wink: )

i loved the idea crawling ever since i was like 10 looking through my dads 4wheelin mags. im 18 now and live in eureka ca. i will be driving my 1967 ford fairlane once i finish restoring it kinda hard sense i dont have a job to get money for it but cant get a job cause no car lol. i dont have a r/c rock crawler , yet. all i have is a traxxas ruster ( locked diffs not that it matters though lol) a savage .25 with getting close to a grand in it ( shouldnt have done that :oops: cause now if i wanted to sell it i wouldnt get crap around here for it) i will get a txt or build a custom crawler dont know yet need money lol. anyways im glad to be here finnaly and i hope to get a rig soon

Hey,
This NitroBoy24 from the RCZ and a few other boards. Real name is John and I am 15 years old, birthday is in 4 months (woot woot drivers liscense!).

My rigs are a heavily modified RC10GT and an NTC3 that just has new chrome rims and tires along with a 2-speed and M3 body.

I am hoping to get an EMaxx and then put the RC Rock Gear crawler kit on it. Other plans would be tires of course, setting up the esc so it runs on one battery and one motor, a jeep or landcruiser body (if they fit), and some other misc stuff. Maybe some beadlocks, btw anyone know the price on them? I'll go look them up but if I am unsuccesful I can always come here :)

For now I will be drooling over the pictures on the boards until I find a cheap emaxx on ebay or a FS/T forum. Off to ebay and to find some videos!

Well dudes and dudettes, Ive arrived. Hello everyone, this is my first time on this site, well the forum section anyways and yea Im a newb i guess, but not to the RC/ crawler/mud boggin world. Ive been in it since the late 80s. My current project is my Txt ! which i bought off ebay almost a year ago rtr with hipo parts for $285 (super rooster, emaxx motors, full bearing, etc.) anyways Im here to just get input and give out advice from my many trial and errors to enlighten everyone and to get enlightened myself. currently my project Tx has a emaxx 2 speed, and soon enough it will have full carbon plates for mounting 2 batts and an upper plate to hold the esc, receiver and cooling fan. Hope to have fun with you all. Ill post pics as soon as i borrow a camera, or buy one.. my truck comes first though.. :

Newb 4,372 reporting for duty.

I'm from Utah, have been back into R/C for about 4 years now, and have exhausted many other avenues of distraction. My last was Mini-z overlands. See my gallery here: http://mini-zracer.com/gallery/Shimey ...they're fun and I was in a condo so...

Have since bought a house, and started looking at Pajero's over at Rcjimsplace.com. Soon found out their limitations, and started looking toward doing a jugg or clod. THEN i saw what some people were doing with TLT's and I was hooked. I'd eventually like to build a Scale rig on TLT axles.

AND

After lurking around here for a few days, I've now decided to put my (mostly) aluminum T-maxx on the sacrificial alter and I'm gonna take a stab at a hybrid. Maybe a Rockraider if I can sell some of the nitro parts to fund it.

So, that's me, those are my intentions. Be gentle.

I should have posted here first,
Names Mike, located in Castle Rock colorado. I do 1:1 wheelin in the sumer and 1:10 in the winter. Here are some pics of my TXT-1, its got a GD600, relocated lower control arms, JB locked front and rear, custom bracket for dual servos up front and a whole list of things to do... like, choping the rims, longer control arms, 1/4 servo up front, different tires, revo shafts, and a possible full tubed chassis.... ive been drooling over every tuber ive seen ont this site.

Hey, I'm Kyle. I live in Lexington, KY. New to the R/C crawlers but I have been lurking around this board since it was started. I currently own a Savage (gas, yuck, I know!) that I'm considering selling to help fund a crawler project...anyone interested?? Got 2 complete Clods off ebay a few months back as a starting point. By the way, this is a great board here (also seems to be the busiest), I think I've learned a lot already!

i am new to this site but have been into clods for about 10 years plus. i am waiting on a boyer chassis and have a crawler in the works.

how do you get pics for your personal avatars on this forum? all it lets me do is choose from the silly icons....
