| Where to hook up the battery?
I have a Capo Sixer1 Suzuki Samurai that I finished putting together but I can't seem to figure out where the battery is supposed to hook up to. Is the battery supposed to hook up to the motor? If so, there doesn't seem to be any other cable coming out of the motor to hook up to the channel receiver hub. Am I supposed to hook up the battery to the main channel hub? If so, which channel? There are 3 total. Finally, if you look at the cable coming out of the motor it is a 3 pin cable, but it's too short to hook up to the main channel hub (if that's where it goes). Is there a female to male extension cable I can buy? I am including some photos to make it easier to understand. Last edited by The_Hulk; 05-23-2021 at 10:53 AM. |

Your motor should have bigger leads than that servo plug. To get a good visual, check out the rcsparks channel on youtube. Aaron aka medic built one of these aswell as the jk. Hes got good video of the built in detail

In the two photos above, the silver thing is just a bracket thats part of the frame, the back wire is the ESC plug that the battery plugs into. I have an extension cable (3pin) hooked into that. I will post pics of that soon. In the meantime I was looking at Medic's video. I took a screen shot, I am missing the black and red thick wires. What kinds of wires are those? If anyone can provide a link to the product I will appreciate it. Also, where would those thick red and black wires hook up to? I have dual monitors and when I took a screenshot it took a photo of both monitors. |

Are you sure it’s got a motor and ESC installed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, the motor is in the giant silver engine that's in the pic, it just doesn't have the black and red wires coming out of it. Here are photos of the back. The two red and black wires connect the battery to ESC, then there is a 3 pin cable running from the ESC (I used a 9 inch extension cable), but not sure where to plug that into? |

I’d have a look at the motor itself and see if either the wires are caught up or not connected. The wire from the ESC goes to the receiver ch2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

i found the problem lol the stering wheel is on the wrong side it cant drive with the steering wheel on the wrong side but seriosly the yellow and.blue wires that are electrical taped and zip tied up conect to the motor directly the small plug coming out of the plastic motor case is ether a shift servo wire or a fan wire all the small.3.wire.plugs go.to.the reciver steering #1 slot esc #2 slot shift./fan/whatever else is controled by the radio slot #3 it should also have a battery /bind plug port on the reciver that should be slot.#4 not all recivers have the extra slot for the battery /bec/ power take off or bind plug though some use channel 3 for binding it usualy says what port is used to bind the radio and.reciver on the reciver next to the port Last edited by ferp420; 05-24-2021 at 07:25 AM. |
