hi Has anyone every used a sledgehammer transmission in 2.2 crawler or is it possible? thanks |

They have some merit in them, but if you pop it.... Time to re-engineer a new gearbox into your chassis, unless it's YOU who has all the discontinued spares!.

as the sledgehammer tranny got the same size dive shafts as the pede tranny

Yes, 'pede sliders will fit. The yolkes are different, though. On a modern Traxxas, the diff has 5mm flatted stubs, that the yolkes fit onto. Sledge's yolkes have the shaft attached, and feed into the diff center, like Tamiya buggies and touring cars. And, I believe they are brittle (not asthough the white plastic modern ones aren't). |

Try to keep all your question on one thread and use the search button Also if you have a Blackfoot that is complete try selling it to help pay for a better tranny and shocks

ahhhhh, sledges were the greatest monster truck ever made...... i wish traxxas would of made the 'pede an 8 shock truck..... |
