Exclamation motor problems

Hi just got the novak 55t motor and went to fit it to my axial artr and the half thread that you put through the 14 tooth gear seems to not go in far enough and stop it from turning properly. any help or pics availible thanks

When you put the pinion on the motor shaft, you'll want to slide it on only as far as you need to, to get the correct gear mesh with the spur.

The flat portion of the motor shaft is for the set screw in the pinion...that's what keeps the pinion in place.
