mine with a vxl, 24 tooth pinion, 86 tooth spur, 5000mah lipo has worn the back bumper off. With an 18 tooth pinion it really wheelies.

tighten clutch? Same setup here. Even on a 6 cell stick pack I can wheelie..somethings wrong. 7 cell packs you have to work at it to keep the front end down. My gearing is close to Jasons. Do you balance your lipos? how old is it? how many charges on it? ect, could be battery issue also.

my lipo is about 2 weeks old with about 8-10 charges allways ballanced but i think i could wheelie with the 8.5 if i tightend the clutch and got good traction but i also think i will help mwhen my ball diff arives for it so i can make the diff more tight and not so louse

get a stronger lipo
the more teeth on a pinion the faster you go vice versa
more teeth on a spur more torque vice versa
change out gears maybe

theres nuthing wrong with the lipo i went to go tighten the spur and it was a whole turn out so i think that was why and it is cold here so that mean tractions is bad

Stock tires always made it hard for mine to pull the front end up and I am running a mamba 7700 with a 2 cell lipo. I put some dirt hawgs on mine and it would wheelie on dirt even.

high torque + high traction = wheelie

use a large spur 86- 90
small pinion 16 or lower

make sure you have traction, personally i like to use paragon on proline switch tires

use a stiffer spring in the rear

make sure ur slipper is tight
