Looking good. I am sure those curves are keeping it challenging.

You've got some mad skills Joe!! That is art in styrene.

I should have taken more pictures when I was in Bogota last time. Down there you'll see 50's and early 60's Macks, GMCs, Whites, etc., all kinds of old trucks that are still on the road hauling freight and making money every day. Many of them have obviously been very well taken care of over the years too...

SEMIJOE 08-06-2009 05:52 PM

Very nice,Joe.Work of art."thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Are you going to bring the cab closer to the ground? The 1:1's i have seen and similar trucks from that era are relatively low compared to other, more modern, trucks.

you are correct about them be alittle lower.what it is ,is that its not the cab thts lowered its the suspension thats to high.i noticed that the tire are above the frame rails and tha cab still sits on top the frame rails

SEMIJOE 08-07-2009 08:53 AM

the fender will be a 2 part build just like the 1:1 truck
there is an inner fender which is more then half the fender
then there is an outer which is where the big curve is
this will also make my build easier
tell ya watching a 1:1 being built make it a whole lot easier
