| Flux or Bl Revo? Which one?
I am in the market for basher. I had a bl emaxx and a nitro revo. Long story but, I traded them off:-(. I have 2 crawlers and a bl slash already. I want a big air, beat the crap out of it , and come back for more type basher. I think I have it narrowed down to a Savage Flux or a Bl Revo. I like the Flux a little bit better then the Revo. But the radio in the Revo is probably better. I am concerned about durability of the Hpi stuff and parts availability. I have had enough Traxus stuff to know about these things. Which one would you chose and why? Or pro's and con's of each. Ps I searched but didn't find a good thread that compared them. |

Extreme RC Cars has an article this month on this topic. I think they pick the e-revo.

Savagfe flux. 100%, no other way to go..... I have now owned both and the flux is hands down a much funner truck.... more off-roadable'goanywhere type of attitude. ONLY weak point on the flux are the diffs.... but HPI has some heavy duty ones coming out next month or there is a great 1/8th buggy diff that fits right on in and is indestructable. You won't be disapointed!

Thanks guys! I have been looking around and the Flux is cheaper too! How is the radio system in the Flux? |

i have a bl revo and iam impressed to say the lest with its durability. its very tunable and you can even race it if you chose to. i have against truggies and done fairly well.ive had nitro savages and no nothing jumps like a savage so you have that to think about also..savage parts are pretty durable.the savage flux look to be a pain to work on though.. ill stick with my bl revo, why ? because i have it and it doesn't let me down. |

Flux is how i would go. As far as the radio i would upgrade to a 2.4 system of your choice it comes with an AM radio i had glitching problems which is really scary at high speeds. Also get a ccbec and a cc programming kit. Make sure you use the programming kit to shut off the lipos. Ive heard that doing it the way that hpi has you do it in the manual will ruin the batteries. thats my .02
