| homemade lcg chassie for my slash
made skid plate with 10g alum and cut orig plastic chassie plus changed the steering sevo position. went to 50w in front and 55 in the rear with two hole pistons in the shocks. vxl brushless system with 32 pitch gear conversion 12 and 58 tooth gears, for overall gearing is 12.72. 6 1/2lbs all together. doesn't roll in corners, and only flips when i want it to lol. Nice work! How's it holding up? I'm in the process of using two Rustler chassis to make my own LCG slash. |

Nice! I just got a Slash as well (my Son does not want it anymore so its mine! lol) and I just ordered the same body! along with the RPP rear bumper, gear cover, and mud flaps. I will probably convert it to brushless since I have a Castle Motiv ESC and 5700kv motor laying around. I like your beefed up chassis and mods! looks good! |

| progress report
thought i would put up a list of things that have broke so far. had a wheel hub break from a side impact by my sons rustler haha wraped a root around another wheel hub, my fault playin where i should not have been blew one shock cap, refilled and super glued and is still holding, hit wooden jump wrong and broke out where the pin goes through the trans housing. upgraded from stock wheels to ax 10 bead locks and proline badland tires. love it it is soooooooo cool!!!!!! lots of traction no more squirting from side to side, changed gearing to 58 tooth from 56, lot more torque. got some pics in action with stock wheels going to get some with new wheels and tires plus gearing.
