Oh boy... Check out rctech.net and rcshourtcourse.com for pretty much anything you'd ever want to know about the Slash. |

I didn't see anyone say the slash was bad... In fact, I personally love my slash. You can get it 2wd, or 4wd. Mine is the 4wd. I have beat the crap out of it and it won't stop. No one can tell you what the best rig is. Everyone has opinions on what they think is the best. For you to form your own opinion, try looking up videos on youtube, google different rigs... Then when you find one you might like, buy it. For $600, you can get a rig a and upgrade it. Good luck with your search. |

What are you looking to do with this vehicle? Crawl? Bash? Submarine driving?

The Slash won't rock crawl really at all, it has open diffs and a short course design for tracks. If you have $600 to spend I would look at getting a crawler/scaler and a basher separate.

if youve got 600 bucks get an e-maxx and lock the diffs bam you have an awesome basher and should be a somewhat capable crawler with the locked diffs lol or you could get a summit and have the remote locking diffs |

if your looking for a fun basher thats not a crawler get a slash! they are alot of fun with alot of aftermarket support. both the 2wd and 4wd are very durable. i read somewere that sobebody ran one over with a car and it only needed a few small parts! however if you plan ob sc racing you will need a lcg chassis to be competitive. |
