Default lcg slash 4x4

ive had my slash 4x4 ultimate for a few months now and have gone threw several motors trying to find one i liked.

so far ive put in it
team rce lcg chassis (havent tested but the instructions for it suck!)
rpm front bumper
rpm rear bumper
stock pinion with 52t spur
installed the center diff
green dot jconcepts subcultures
2 cell lipo
proline powerstock front and rear shocks

before i got the lcg chassis the truck was a blast and kicked up grass. the truck was beat on alot and only ever had one minor problem, besides over heating a motor and gear problems.

i hit a curb doing about 10-15mph and about a 45 degree angle and the ball end on the one shock came off, but it was a very easy fix

the amazing instructions

heres some body off pics

i tested the chassis out yesterday and i noticed that it wouldnt go sideways no matter how hard i pushed it, it had a 52t spur. the truck also seemed very slugish but had great handling till the stupid pin in the driveshaft came out, which made the front wheels not turn!

i got a chance to go the the lhs while they were racing the short course trucks outside. luckily somebody was there which had the same chassis as me. he was nice enough to share his set up with me and gave me some pointers. his truck looked pretty good on the track, wasnt the fastest but the guy wasnt very experinced. he said that the other guys were mostly running 7 pound losi, these dont weigh that much

went to go adjust the gearing from 13/52 to 14/54 but i realized that the 14t pinion i have has an opening that is a lot bigger than the motor shaft. so i put the 54t spur on, still needs diff oil in it. when i put back on the smaller pinion the damn thing broke on me
