Got a Stampede that will only turn in 1 direction after hitting a curb. Is it the steering servo? Didn't see anything broken underneath it. It makes a sound like the gears are stripped in the servo when it does turn in the direction it usually won't go in to and gets stuck in that position.

Probably blew up the servo saver, seen it happen before. Try to get a Kimbourgh 123 servo saver, been beating one of those on my Pede. Also got a set of the offset pivot balls for the Revo with longer screws then install them them on the servo saver end of the tie rods with the long side facing up, helps get rid of the bump steer inherant to that steering set up.

My gues is the servo saver or servo itself. Do you have a spare of either that you could swap in?
