Rc feels heavy...

Okay, My Buddy and I both have ofna LX 1/8 scale buggies that were converted to electric from Nitro. The 2 cars are nearly identical and they are stock with exception to the Motor and ESC and tires and Servos

I am running a HPI Q-base ESC with Alphastar Motor and he is running a Toro 2350 motor and ESC Toro (unknown model). I was running Duratrax lock-ups and a Traxxas Servo and he was running Pro-line dirty harry tires and a Hi tech servo… ( specs on servos are similar- except mine is plastic gears , he had metal gears)

When we switched cars to just for fun we both noticed the same thing, my car (with HPI equipment) seemed heavy and his car (with the Toro system) seemed light…

Which leads me to my question… (and I don’t plan to change things since based on my driving habits it runs GREAT) but what would make such similar cars feel do differently? Has anyone else experienced this?

Here are other things we Noticed:

Basing statements below on my (Heavier Feeling) Car:

My car felt:
1. more punchy on the get up and go
2. Drifted out
3. Broke loose easier
4. Nose heavy
5. Bottomed out on jumps easier
6. Not- agile feeling ( but was)

Ummm diff set ups , like shock oil and stuff also diff set ups in the esc's settings maybe .

Different springs and preload set up maybe.

I agree, Shock oil, springs and maybe diff. gear oil.
