How awesome of you Headshok88, Thanks!

No problem. I hope I can find my adapters. All of my packs have Power Pole connectors.

Well, I had to order some MIPs for my SCX10, kept popping my modded Maxx Shafts off the tranny outputs. LOL Well, off to the next weak point in the driveline. :)

Re: Northwest area

That sucks, about the battery. I'm having some issues with mine, the 1st cell in the pack keeps dropping WAY below the other one. I'm changing from a brushless VXL setup to a Rooster Crawler/Brushed if my motor arrives in time. I'm hoping that I can save the pack and the problems go away. So I've had most of my truck apart over the past few days checking everything, too.

Edit: Well, found out that my pack has a bad cell in it. Basically a loaded gun with a hair trigger and the safety off. So my darling wife let me get a new DX3C and a new lipo pack. Awesome she is, love her to pieces! She used Father's Day as a reason, LOL

What kind of terrain is at the park? Will I need to water proof?

I honestly don't remember 100%, it's been 3 years since I've been there. I'd say if we get a decent amount of rain, it might not be a horrible idea, but probably not needed. I'm not gonna force anyone do troop through mud, lol.

Depending on how everyone feels, we might want to try heading across the way to the south. There is a bike path/walkway that might have some stuff to drive on.

Here is a sat map of the area...

I think most of it is just dirt trails, maybe fallen trees and stuff.

Re: Northwest area

Yeah, that's probably not really liking the big 2.2 tires. I'd suggest something with approx. 200+ oz/in.

There's this, it's pretty budget-friendly:

Solar Servo D772 High Voltage 0.17sec@7.4v 64g Digital Metal Gear

Devil Inc 06-22-2012 11:37 AM

Re: Northwest area

Yeah, probably not the greatest servo ever, but for the price I don't think it would be a bad one to try.
