| filler for hardbodys
ok i will be working on my first hardbody in the next coming weeks and knowing me im going to go custome on it. ive been reading and i foudn this stuff called microballons and i wasnt to see what u guys thought of it as a filler. heres an artical i foudn about its use in rcs and thought id share and get some feedback. http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazin...roballoons.htm |

I used the stuff for years. I mixed it with either epoxy or polyester resin when I was building model boats. Think of it like baking soda that you would add to the glue to thicken it up. What do you have against auto body filler? Might be easier on an ABS body rather than mixing the glue and then trying to sand it down.

i dont ive just been doing auto body on the side and i have breathed in enough auto body filler for now lol im just looking for other possibilitys. i have never heard of it nor seen it in a hobby shop or at least i havent looked for it i might go look now though.

I've had some filler / seam sealer stuff at the shop that said stuff about "micro baloons" on the packaging -- Seemed to work just like the "standard" fillers to me. |
