Default Hard body glue??????

Anyone ever use ABS cement or PVC cement for this? I have no styrene glue and I want to get the body done today.

I have 3 glues here : Tenax 7r, Plastruct Plastic Weld, and Ambroid Pro weld...
The Tenax just says plastic welder... but the other two say Styrene, Butyrate, ABS, acrylic... So... my guess would be that the chemical composition is close enough..

Try it on some scrap styrene and see what happens..

all my mental notes point me towards tenax7r and plastruct bondene.
tenax to use on styrene to styrene, and the bondene for others.
i also have ambroid proweld for fun.

i haven't started with any of them, but when i used to model it was with product called weld on i think. i even had minimal results with model glue and hot glue guns.
i haven't done any model projects in styrene since the early 90's.
so this should be fun.

super glue works well for tack "welding" things together until you have it together enough to apply the heavy duty stuff
