Default Painting the outside of a lexan body

I want to do this for the new body I'll be getting, I've seen a few shells done like this and have liked the results.

So what's all involved with painting the outside of it?

It's the same as painting the inside. Only difference is that the paint scratches off.

Painting the inside with patches of copper and silver with a coat of whatever color on the outside of the shell can result in something that looks a little beaten up.

Just make sure you peel the protective film off before painting the outside of a shell.

Are you wanting to paint the outside to get a FLAT effect from your paint job? If you are looking to get that flat effect without much work, check out PS-55 from Tamiya. This stuff will make any color painted on the inside of a lexan body FLAT. You just spray it on the outside after removing the over spray film and masking off the windows from the outside. In my experience, you can spray about 5 lexan bodies per can.

One more thing....you don't have to worry about paint scraping off!
